Simpson Strong-Tie WSWH-RF18KT Installation Overview

1. Drill or notch the subfloor for the threaded rod
2. Attach blocking using sawn lumber or structural composite lumber
3. Install the couplers and threaded rod
4. Trim threaded rods to achieve 6-1/2" standoff from top of subfloor
5. Install heavy hex nuts on threaded rods flush with the top of the subfloor
6. Place the shear transfer plate over the threaded rod and nail it to the rim joist and blocking
7. Place the WSWH wall over the threaded rod and install heavy bearing plates and heavy hex nuts
8. Attach A34 angles on either side of the WSWH panel (not provided)
9. Attach LTP4s (not provided) to sill plate and rim joist, per designer
