Simpson Strong-Tie TC26 Installation Overview
- Use all specified fasteners as per guidelines.
- Drive 0.148" x 3" nails into the truss at the inside end of the slotted holes, leaving room under the nail head for movement.
- After roofing materials installation, nails may need to be fully seated as required by the designer.
- Optional installation involves bending one flange up 90Ā° and driving specified nails or screws into the top and face of the plates or masonry wall.
