Simpson Strong-Tie TB60 Installation Overview

  1. Support floor joists with a depth-to-thickness ratio of six or more with bridging at intervals not exceeding 8'.
  2. Install on 2x8 or larger joists for spans greater than 8'.
  3. Use more than one pair for spans greater than 16'.
  4. Install bridging tightly to prevent floor movement.
  5. Requires two 0.148" x 1 1/2" fasteners per end.
