  2. Adjust nail tool pressure to avoid overdriving nails.
  3. Use at least one 8d x 1 1/2" or 10d x 1 1/2" nail per nailing grid.
  4. Follow the MMLU Installation and Load Table for additional nails.
  5. Ensure vertical spacing of nails is at least 1/2" to prevent splitting.
  6. Ensure MMLU height is at least 60% of joist height for rotation resistance.
  7. Install I-joist web stiffeners or floor truss end vertical webs if needed.
