Simpson Strong-Tie ICFVL-CW Installation Overview

1. Slip the ledger connector underneath the ledger
2. Install eight ICF-D3.25 screws partially into the ledger using a low-speed drill
3. For dense wood species, predrill the ledger with a 5/32" drill bit
4. Position the bottom of the ledger level to the chalk line and drive screws through the wood into the ICFVL
5. Attach with four #14 x 3/4", #3 drill-point screws (not provided)
6. Ensure screws are at least 1/2" from the edge of the ICFVL and spaced evenly
